Learning Expectations:

 

 

- I expect to learn and understand what the author really wants to emphasize and determine the importance of the topic. I also want to relate this topic on a personal basis were in it could give an impact for my learning and to the real world when the right time comes.

 

 

Review:

 

 

            As for this chapter, it first gets a intro about on how to e yourself, on how to know your own uniqueness and creativity. The author wants to emphasize here the worth of an individual, and his / her dedication for something that make his / her worth. Every person has their own specialty in terms of works, it’s a mixture of something better or you’re good at and something that is worst enough to discourage yourself. That’s why, it’s very important to know your self first before knowing somebody else.

 

 

            The topic now goes to the web, because  the author wants us to know that for every web, there’s always a person involved with it, and if there’s a creator, there’s always and editor which updates the existing one in order to be more reliable in terms of its content. This also deals with the importance of communications, when the web is created or established / launched, there’s a lot of medium been adapted and made by the growing companies that can help people to use as conversation in a very basic way using the web.

 

 

 Electronic mail is one of the known medium of communication for a corporate method because e-mail is mostly used by other professionals to interact with somebody else even around the globe; its basic process gets to provoke users to use this as a mean of communication which is a good benefit since it’s a free registration. Mailing List is one of the examples or medium that is created to make a conversation with somebody or world wide, mailing list is been effective by having a one way and a two way process, first is that you can send your message to bunch of people by knowing their addresses, second is in form of spamming which do some users did for promoting something like a site or maybe trying to sell you something, but there’s something ugly with this, because the connection is just between you and the recipient and they cannot even respond to you. Newsgroups are also one form of communication, it’s like a mailing list but the difference is that the messages are been collected and configured as news servers, it sometimes moderated or unmoderated. Chat is also one of the good communication medium that everybody uses specially the teens which they use in their studies to communicate with their friends or classmates; this medium is more advance to other types, because this medium is a live basis and the means of communication is faster than the others, its like a Q/A process which you could get immediately the respond of whom your talking with. Lastly, the web pages, it’s a form of communication by means of publication for something, its like posting a blog and let everybody read or saw it, because of this form, many companies do use this as their medium to create a mass conversation for whatever their concerns are.

 

 

For the notion, it only creates a different thing to us users, because of the fact that the reliable internet gets to be dominated, new software and new technology been launched, it affects our daily living by just using it, such as e-mail, chatting, newsgroups and etc. this kinds of medium gets to be good, but once were very affected or in to it, were just practicing one thing here, its to be modernized or get it into what’s new in the environment, being in is not  bad, its just, the way we interpret it, their goes the problem. Let us all remember or keep in mind that we first learn to talk and lastly we learn to use the web.

 

 

Talk is cheap only signifies that not only the voice and writings can be the medium for an effective communication, there’s a lot of method / process that can be use and one of those is the web, in which it deals more global and more advance. The chapters only wants us to know that web can be a very effective tool for a good communication, faster, reliable, mass counter and user friendly, but remember a thing, don’t forget or relies only with the medium itself because even there’s a lot of software that can help you, usage or abusing it can get you for some troubles, know your limitations, there’s a lot we can use, but as the saying “don’t sell your self so cheaply, know your capacity”.

 

 

 

 

           

What I’ve learned:

 

 

- I’ve learned that, a web is a very large useful tool for communication, besides its faster, its more of a mass culture that deals to help you fix things, know things and learn things by others experience. I’ve also learned that if you cannot use your voice a you own medium for communication, besides for writing, web is a reliable tool to create a very effective conversation even in any way you want it to be, corporate, mass or interactive type.
